“I moved to Winchester, Ontario 14 years ago and am originally from the Eastern Townships in Quebec.  I have been drawing and painting most of my life.   I majored in Fine Arts at Champlain Regional College in Lennoxville, Quebec.  I meant to go on to University, however life got in the way.  This did not stop me from expressing myself through art.   We should all have a little art in our life, and it must be available to all.

When I moved to Winchester my children were very young and I decided to work from home.  This left me with more time to create.  I started out doing botanicals and have progressed into animals and lately birds.  While starting in acrylic paint, I have worked with watercolour and now am working in chalk pastel.  I love the texture of chalk pastel and love blending the colours.  The line is also very important in my work.  I hope you enjoy the paintings as much as I enjoyed painting them.”
